It’s always refreshing to leave the city for a breath of fresh air, a change of scenery and outdoor activities.
So we spent the last weekend in Moganshan. An easy 3 hour drive outside of Shanghai, lush bamboo forests await you. We stayed at House 23 and had the bestest BBQ, which included delicious steak (I’m such a carnivore) and – let’s take a trip down memory lane – grilled marshmallows. I died. Figuratively. So delicious.
Apart from that, every local dish comes with bamboo as the main ingredient in every shape or flavor. We played UNO (unfortunately I tend to get very competitive when playing anything, resulting in people being reluctant to play with me… – sad face) and drank a lot of TsingTao.
