travel * Sanya, Hainan, China

Last Wednesday was Chongming Festival in China, also known as Tombsweeping Day. I used the national holiday to go on a long weekend trip to Sanya, in Hainan.
(afterall, I hadn’t been anywhere in a whole three weeks.. tough life)

We stayed at the Narada Resort & Spa. A bit strange for me, I have to admit, as it was quite the upgrade from the usual hostel or B&B option. But – so worth it! The hotel has a few different pools and direct beach access, the ocean had a solid 30something degrees and despite a rather cloudy forecast, we had nonstop sunshine for the 5 days we were there. Definitely a GO!, however, I do think it’s a one-time-only trip, as there really isn’t anything to do at all, besides getting your tan on.
