Aloha, everyone.
I made it to Hawaii, first Oahu und now Kauai. My flight itself was fabulous – I got upgraded to Business class, which made the trip with China Eastern all the better.
I spent the first day in Oahu, Honolulu before heading on to Kauai. Unfortunately Kauai has seen the heaviest rain of the year so far, so we’ve been visting coffee shops, malls, the movies and a few outdoor highlights, whenever the sky cleared up. Luckily the forecast is good and it looks like it will be a lot nicer from tomorrow onwards, which will then finally give us the opportunity to get out the hiking shoes and visit some of the stunning scenery around the island.
