Spring in Shanghai. Weekend Roundup.

It’s been an absolutely outstanding weekend – both on the weather side of things and from an activity stand point.

Saturday night started out with JUE Festival and Dark Tranquility rocking the MAO Livehouse. The Swedish Metal band was playing Shanghai for the first time and it was great! Lot’s of stagediving, crowdsurfing, beer and headbanging. I loved it!
We managed to cram a lot of other places into that night with stops Kaiba, The Roof and Lola. Consequently I had a rather rough start into my Sunday.

Today’s breakfast consisted of Pizza and Coke in an attempt to soothe the headache while enjoying some outdoor seating in the sun at Peppone. We dropped by Jiashan Market and then headed to the the Xuhui Riverside with some pistachios and a can of Asahi to soak up as much sun as possible.
