Chinese Arts and Crafts Market at Jiashan Market

By June 10, 2012September 17th, 2016No Comments

Yesterday we met for breakfast at the Melange Oasis at Jiashan Market. The temperature and humidity levels in Shanghai have reached their yearly high thus far and all that remains is to quietly sweat away.

We spent the day at Jiashan Market, which hosted the first annual Chinese Arts and Crafts event and then went on to the Pool. Shanghai’s best pool in my opinion is the Grand Gateway pool. It’s not really a public pool, but if your ‘friend’ stays at the service apartment and you’re willing to put down 150RMB you’re in and enjoy an oasis of quietness above the bustling streets of the city and it’s mostly kid-free, too.

The day concluded at Cotton’s and tickets to O’Malley’s with an attempt to stay awake for the 2.45am Germany match and what can I say… fail…
