I spent a few days in Japan last week and it would be an understatement to call the music scene in Tokyo decent. So let me rephrase: It’s off the chain!
(I always like to use that expression, despite knowing that actual native speakers will have a go at me for using it!)
Bo Ningen is one of those Japanese bands that actually has had a bit more of international exposure – they are based in London. You could categorize them as old school rock n roll with a tad bit of noise rock thrown it. Mix it up with post garage rock and you got them. Or I really just have no idea what I’m talking about, but I like them!
